Uses Wifi Direct, will not allow you to use built in car wi-fi hotspot/connection at the same time! When the adapter connects to your phone to provide wireless CarPlay, it disconnects from the car's wi-fi connection. Please message us if you do not see your car model listed in the pictures. - 🟢 To connect: Insert dongle, allow a minute for setup. It will open on car screen. Press CarPlay icon. On phone, enable CarPlay & Siri Voice. In Bluetooth, select your device, will start with “Smart”. Pair. CarPlay will open. For screen mirror, on phone, turn on hotspot. Head to CarPlay home screen. Press settings & wlan, find phone’s hotspot name, enter password. Go to CarPlay home screen, press PhoneCast, select your option. On phone, press screen mirror & select your smart device again.
